What to Expect:

 

Day 1  

- Departure from the hostel and breakfast in the historic city of Taroudant.  

- Visit a saffron producer in Taliouine and explore abandoned caves once home to nomads.  

- Enjoy lunch with a local carpet-making family in Tazenakht.  

- Drive through one of the world’s largest oases before settling in Tinzouline for a relaxing evening at a riad with a pool.  

 

Day 2

- Begin the day with breakfast, lunch, and some downtime at the riad.  

- Explore the clay castles and artisanal spots in Zagora, followed by a visit to a unique silver museum.  

- Head to Mhamid, the edge of the desert, for a thrilling 4x4 drive through the dunes.  

- Arrive at a desert campsite to sandboard, watch the sunset from the highest dune, and enjoy a traditional dinner with music by the campfire. Sleep under the stars or in a tent.  

 

Day 3 

- Start with a camel ride at sunrise and breakfast at the campsite.  

- Visit the pottery producers of Tamegroute and explore Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate, where iconic films like The Gladiator and Game of Thrones were shot.  

- End the day at a hotel in Aït Benhaddou, with dinner and a relaxing evening.  

 

Day 4  

- Take an early morning hike to a stunning viewpoint for sunrise.  

- Enjoy breakfast and a swim at the hotel before embarking on a scenic drive back to the hostel, with plenty of photo stops along the way.
